In 1989 a few researchers of the university in connection with
scientists from the Nuclear Reasearch Center (CEA/Grenoble) and Military Health Research
Center of Grenoble (CRSSA) created the Free Radicals Club of Grenoble (CERLIB) to promote
collaborative researches between their laboratories. The CERLIB became a transversal
interdisciplinary structure of the University of Grenoble (University Joseph Fourier)/
